CFK event ( Cooking for Kids)

Cooking For Kids event

I'm submitting the Chocolate Chips and Dried Blackcurrant Muffin for CFK event. It's a simple muffin and i topped it with chocolate. For the decoration i use fondant Butterfly which I make by myself. Kids will love it.


If you would like to bake one for your kids, here is the recipe.

Chocolate Chip and Dried Blackcurrant Muffin Recipe:

Ingredient A:
250 gm All purpose flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
2 tbsp Cocoa powder
175gm Castor Sugar
50 gm Dried Blackcurrant ( can use Raisin also)
100gm Chocolate Chips

Ingredient B:
250ml Milk ( I use full cream milk)
90ml Corn oil/ sunflower oil
1 large egg
1 tsp Vanilla essence

Method:
1. Heat oven at 160 C.
2. Sieve ingredient A and set a side.
3. Beat ingredient B for 1 minute. Mix Ingredient A until well mixed.
4. Scoop the mixture in to the muffin case about 3/4.
5. Bake at 160 c for 15min or until it is cooked.
6. Ready to serve.

The black current muffin looks delicious.. and the fondant butterfly adds a nice garnish.. thanks for sending it to the event
