I baked a Black Forest cake today for my father's 62nd birthday. I used shaved chocolate to cover the sides of the cake because i forgot to buy chocolate rice and i also forgot about the snow powder... But it turns out very nice...

RM20 Black Forest Cake demo class

Actually i won the RM20 Black Forest Cake Demo Class organized by Baking Project (bakingproject.com). The class was so useful for me. We learn how to make sponge cake from scratch. Then we learn how to assemble the cake to become a Black Forest Cake. Thanks to Min and Chef Gunawan.
